At this gathering we will...

Provide Information about NESD
We will share information about the network and invite you to join us! If you are able to attend the gathering we will offer you a complimentary annual membership ($50 value) for this pilot year. As a member you will be invited to attend quarterly gatherings and an annual retreat.

Collect Information for the Directory
If you are a spiritual director certified in a 2 year program (click here to see the list of schools and ministries recommended by ESDA) you will be invited to be listed in the directory of spiritual directors that will be housed on the website. During the gathering, Jenna will be collecting information for bios and one of our favorite photographers, Eric Niequist, will be set up to take head shots.

Book Discussion with Sibyl Towner
We are excited that Sibyl Towner will again be joining us! Sibyl is the co-author of Listen to My Life, has previously served as the Director of Spiritual Mentoring at Willow Creek, currently leads a two-year spiritual direction training program for Sustainable Faith in her home at The Springs in Indiana, and serves as a spiritual director at retreats for The Transforming Center. Sibyl and I recently spent some time discussing the book You are What You Love: The Spiritual Power of Habit by James K.A. Practice Together
As a community we will be guided through the historic Christian practice of the Examen. We will have copies available for purchase of ANL No 6: The Examen Expanded Edition - this is a CD of the Examen liturgy by Aaron Niequist and Father Michael Sparough.
